Booking a Party
To fully secure a date, we require a $75 deposit.  Your date is not guaranteed until your deposit has been received.  The balance is due 2 weeks prior to the event date. Holiday events require payment 3 weeks prior to the date.

Outdoor Events - Rain or Shine
All events are “rain or shine” unless otherwise stipulated. The CLIENT is responsible to provide an alternate indoor location in the event of inclement weather. We highly recommend having the performer conduct activities inside. If you choose an outside party, you will need to make sure the outdoor area is clean and shaded. The location must be free of dirt, mud, rain and extreme wind. Our Performers are wearing high-end costumes and wigs that cannot risk being stained, or wind-blown. The performer reserves the right to leave the location if she is being subjected to rain or wind that is damaging to her costume or wig. On sunny days, please provide a completely shaded/covered area for the performer and all activity she conducts.

Cancellation Policy
Our entertainers clear their schedule for your event and refuse other bookings to keep you a priority. All fees are non-refundable. No refund will be issued due to inclement weather. No refunds are issued for cancellations. Bookings can be rescheduled if done 3 weeks prior to the event.

We reserve the right to cancel or change performers / characters for any appearance due to serious or contagious illness or injury of the performer or the performer’s family. In this situation, we will do our best to find a new performer for your event, howevr if we cannot, the booking deposit will be put towards a new available event date along with a coupon for the next time.

All Characters are Generic:
We wish to express it is not our intention to violate any copyright laws. All characters are generic costumes and are not affiliated, licensed or associated with any corporation or trademark. Should you have the need for a licensed, copyrighted character for your event, we encourage you to contact the company/copyright holders for your specific targeted character. In addition, we only accept bookings from individuals that are aware that we do not represent any licensed characters.

Character Arrivals
Our character will arrive right at the time the event is booked. We try not to arrive early so that all guests will be at the event before the character makes their appearance. If for some reason, you do not see the character at the event start time, feel free to give us a call. We take pride in arriving right on time! If, for some unforeseeable reason our character is late due to circumstances beyond their control, the character will stay the extended time to compensate their tardiness.

Safety and Guest Behavior
Entertainer/Artist will not supervise children. Their behavior and safety is the Parents' responsibility. Artist cannot see other children and what they are doing while she/he is painting or performing. An adult must be present in the same area as the character and children throughout the entire event.

We want everyone to feel safe at events and parties. If our character feels unsafe for any reason due to a guest’s behavior, they will be required to leave immediately. Our characters are not responsible for children’s behavior, and the performer may leave the premises in extreme situations. This includes both physical and verbal situations. 

​

Please keep in mind when booking superheros or villains some guests like to "fight the bad guy". This will not be permitted as it can injure our performer or damage a costume. When booking these characters please make sure an adult is securing the safety of our performer.

 

Our performers will not hold or carry children or babies.

Mascots Arrival and Safety
Mascot perofrmers will arrive at your event 15-20 minutes early and carry the mascot in a non-clear storage bag. Please provide them a safe place to change into costume. They may need assistance from you to zip. Mascot characters have very limited visability. Please assist your mascot at all times and do not leave them unassisted. Mascots cannot hold children or babies.

 

Travel Fees
We use MapQuest to determine your travel fee with a starting Destination of 307 Cardinal Dr Woodstock, GA 30188. Based on the mileage from our office to your location calculate $1.50 per mile one way.

 

Gratuity
Gratuity is NOT automatically included. If your expectations are exceeded, your Party Team would sincerely appreciate a service gratuity after the party. A customary gratuity ranges between 10-20 percent of the package price.

 

Photos
Any photos / videos taken by Mystical Parties LLC or their affiliates can be used for future marketing by Mystical Parties or our affiliates on our websites, social media, print or any other media outlet without further consent.

 

Other Entertainment
Please let us know if you will be having some other type of entertainment at your event. This helps our characters know what to expect so they can ensure the best performance. Character integrity is very important to us, so we must require notice of any type of other character entertainment that will be attending the event.

Summer Heat Warning:

Due to heat exhaustion, mascots and masked superheroes are unavailable for outdoor events when the temp is over 85 degrees. If your event is outdoors, you must provide shade and a water break every 20 minutes. Please provide plenty of water for your entertainer.

Time vs. Activities

Entertainers are being booked for their time, not a specific number of activities. They do try to offer the most activities possible depending on the time allotted and number of guests.

Texting / SMS

Client agrees to receive a text or sms reminder about your booking, payment schedule or special.

Liability Statement
Entertainer/Artist is not liable for allergic reactions to paints. It is the parent's responsibility to notify Artist if their child has sensitive skin. For safety reasons, Artist will not paint children under 2 years old. For sanitary reasons, Artist will not paint anyone who is or appears to be sick or suffering from: cold sores; conjunctivitis; any infectious skin condition; eczema or open wounds. Artist will use reasonable care, but is not responsible for damage to clothing or property.

COVID-19 Warning
We have taken enhanced health and safety measures, for you and your guests and our Cast Members. You must follow all posted instruction while our performers are onsite. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Diesease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and your guests with underlying medical conmditions are especially vulnerable. By having our performers at your event, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19. Help keep each other healthy.

 

Disclaimer

By accepting the booking, you accept full responsibility for: 

1.  assuring that all children attending the party are supervised by an in-room chaperon of at least 1 adult per 8 children 4 yrs or older and at least 1 adult per 4 children less than 4 yrs. 

2.  explaining to each such adult/chaperon the necessity and importance of keeping children in the party room and staying with and watching the children at all times to avoid the possibility of personal injury or damage to room, equipment, etc. I(We) on behalf of ourselves, our children, and our guests, assume the risks of any such liability and further release Mystical Parties, its owners and employees, from any and all liability for losses, injuries, and damages arising directly or indirectly from the party, and 

3.  reimbursing Mystical Parties for any damages/losses because of attendees at the party, and 

4.  notifying attendees that Mystical Parties reserves the right to use any photos taken at the party for marketing purposes as desired, unless notified by me before usage takes place, and 

5.  timely payment as specified.
